EXTREME CLOSE QUARTERS BATTLE - PISTOL

THIS COURSE TEACHES THE STUDENT PISTOL FIGHTING TECHNIQUES AND TACTICS WITHIN ARMS-REACH DISTANCES

The majority of shootings occur within a distance of 5-10 feet, yet most training courses focus on shooting at farther distances. This course teaches the student pistol fighting techniques and tactics within arms-reach distances and differs from other Basic-CQB schools in that the student will not be asked to be defensive, but aggressive. The student will be able to take the lessons learned from this program and apply them to their personal training regimen or their agency’s training doctrine. This intense two-day school is designed for the operator, responsible citizen and instructor.

Topics Covered:

  • Fundamentals of CQB

  • Point Shooting

  • Multiple Adversaries

  • Hand-to-Hand Tactics

  • Ground Fighting/Shooting

  • Zero Clearance/Point Contact Shooting

Prerequisite

This course is an intermediate level course. It is not an entry level course. The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, foundational marksmanship skills, and working from a holster.
