HANDGUN 101

AN INFORMATIVE AND FUN HALF DAY COURSE TO HELP "GET OVER IT" WHEN THE GUN GOES BANG
​
This beginners course discusses the basics of "this is a gun" for the first time shooter or for those than haven't fired a handgun in a long time and need to familiarize themselves again. Fundamentals of gun safety, handling and presentation to the target are covered. This course is strongly RECOMMENDED prior to attending and qualifying for your Handgun License to Carry (LTC) for the State of Texas. The course of fire required to qualify for the LTC is reviewed in this class.
Prerequisite
A positive attitude, be able to follow a strict adherence to range and firearm safety rules and an open mind.

Equipment

Pistol or revolver in one of the following calibers: .380, 9MM, .38SPL, .357 Magnum, .357SIG, .40S&W, or .45ACP (no other calibers allowed)

2 magazines / 3 speedloaders minimum

Carry case or gun bag and 2 towels

Magazine Pouches (ideally)

Boots or closed toe footwear suitable for outdoor movement

Clothing suitable for training in all weather conditions. (No shorts).

Recommend crew style neck T-shirt.

Sunscreen and bug spray

Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses

Tuition includes free loan of firearms, holsters, safety glasses and hearing protection at the Epping, NH location ONLY.
